Toasted Cinnamon
Almonds
Ingredients:

1/4 cup
Cold Water 1½ cup
Fine Granulated Sugar 1 lb
Whole Almonds with the brown skin 2 teaspoons
Cinnamon
Method:
1.
Combine water, sugar and cinnamon in a saucepan.
2.
Add almonds and cook in the liquid on medium heat until all the liquid has
evaporated. Check and stir often to prevent burning.
3.
Remove from the pan and spread on a dry cookie sheet.
4.
Sprinkle with a little more sugar and place under the broiler for a few minutes
to brown.
Store in an airtight container.
