
Whether you are saving documents to your My Document folder or pictures to your My Pictures folder the procedure is the same.
1. Click on File then Save As. 2. Choose a name for your File and type it in the File Name box. 3. Then click on the Folder in which you wish to save your File i.e. My Documents or My Pictures. 4. Then click Save.
If you wish to change the location of a file by moving it to another folder just follow the steps above and choose a different folder in which to save your file.

Windows XP enables you to quickly locate files and folders. To quickly find a file or folder: 1. Click the Start button. The Start menu will appear.
2. Highlight Search.
3. Click Files or Folders. The Search Results dialog box will open.
4. Choose an option.
5. Enter your search criteria. Use the table that follows to help you.
6. Click search. The results of your search will appear in the right pane.

Computers have a ON button but they do NOT have an OFF Button. To Shut Down your computer: 1. Click the Start button. The Start menu will appear.
2. Click Turn Off Computer. The Turn Off Computer dialog box will appear.
3. Click the Turn Off icon. Your computer will shut down.

To Cancel a print Job: 1. Click the Start button. The Start menu will appear.
2. Highlight Settings. A submenu will appear.
3. Click Printers and Faxes. The Printers and Faxes control panel will appear.
4. Double-click the printer to which you sent the print jobs. The Printer window will open.
5. Click the job you want to stop. If you want to stop more than one job, hold down the Control key while you click the additional jobs.
6. Click Document, which is located on the menu bar.
7. Click Cancel.

To Move a Window on my Desktop 1. Hold down the Left Mouse Button on the
Title Bar at the top of the Window. 2. While still holding down the Left Mouse
Button Drag the Window to the desired location. 3. Release the Left

Cut: When you cut something, it is deleted from its
current location and saved to the invisible Clipboard. Information saved to the
invisible Clipboard stays there until new information is either cut or copied.
Each time you use Cut or Copy, you replace the old information on the invisible
Clipboard with new information.
Copy: Copy is similar to Cut except the original item is not
deleted. When you copy something, a copy of the item is saved to the
invisible Clipboard. Information stored on the invisible Clipboard stays there
until new information is copied. Each time you use Copy, you replace the old
information on the invisible Clipboard with new information.
Paste: When you Cut or Copy and place information on the
invisible Clipboard your aim is to Paste it in another location. Once on the
invisible Clipboard you just need to go to the new location and click on Paste
and your information will appear.
Cut:
1. Highlight the information that you want to Cut.
2. Click Edit, which is located on the menu bar. A drop-down menu will appear.
3. Click Cut. (You could also use the shortcut: Hold down the CTRL Key
and Click the X key)
Paste:
1. Place the cursor at the point where you want to place the information that is currently on the
invisible Clipboard.
2. Click Edit, which is located on the menu bar. A drop-down menu will appear.
3. Click Paste. (You could also use the shortcut: Hold down the CTRL
Key and Click the V key)
Copy :
1. Highlight the information that you want to Copy.
2. Click Edit, which is located on the menu bar. A drop-down menu will appear.
3. Click Copy. (You could also use the shortcut: Hold down the CTRL Key
