Dear Pam
Thanks for all the help in keeping me informed and up to date in this crazy world of computers. I have faithfully followed you and your site since I met you at the Huntington Lakes computer club.
Please keep up the support you supply us, especially in answering the questions that confuse us.

Hi Pamela,
Thanks for your prompt and in-depth response and assistance in my quest for my first lap top. By including it in your recent Skype presentation to the Kings Point Computer Club, much of the information is now available in the archives.
You have always been embarrassingly prompt - making me feel like a procrastinator when I didn't get back to you immediately.
You have been most helpful in the past and I look forward to continue learning from you. I have forwarded your newsletter to relatives and friends and hope that they get the benefits of your plethora of updated knowledge.
I look forward to seeing you in the near future here in Florida, God willing.
Thanks again.

I first heard Pamela give a talk at the Huntington Lakes computer club and I was much impressed by her computer knowledge. I had a problem with my computer and I contacted her she was kind enough to respond overnight with clear instructions on how to fix my problem, I followed her instructions and my problem was solved. Thank you , it's great to be able to get help when a problem arises.

Pam. As always, thank you for your letters and constant flow of information. I often refer your site to others when they have computer related questions.
As co-founder and past President of the Huntington Lakes Computer Club, I wholeheartedly second Lou Strumlauf’s comments about the value of Pamela’s presentation at club meetings. She is not only well versed and prepared in many areas, but forever willing to assist with any problem that is confronted.
Pamela Tabak is one outstanding acknowledged leader in helping the computer user in every area.

I first found info about Pamela's services in a short article from Florida about 3 years ago. I have contacted her several times about computer issues and she is so prompt and clear in her responses and 'how to's'. I bought a copy of her book and it is very helpful.

Pam-Many thanks for your rapid and accurate diagnosis. None of my fellow members could fathom why I couldn't delete any Outlook Express items and you hit it spot on-COMPACT-COMPACT! Your second process worked perfectly, although I had to do it twice, prob. due to an error by me. Anyway, all is now clear and garbage free!
P.S.-I found you because of your published articles in our SCUG Newsletter.

December 9th 2010 Re: Huntington Lakes
At our Dec. 9th meeting we were once again witness to the reason that some presenters are unique and deserving of all the praise that can be heaped upon them
Pamela Tabak is the Presenter that I am talking about. Having her as a speaker means that you don’t have to worry about her being prepared or that her presentation will not be well received . No matter what the subject matter is, you know that she has done her homework and that all our members will thoroughly enjoy what she puts before them.
We go back a long time with Pamela. She has been educating and bringing enjoyment to our members with presentations at least once a year since 2004.
Her topic this time was “Tips and Tricks”, and we all became privy to some bit of information that was new to us. In addition, all our members are always eager to ask her questions related to problems with their computers. She did not disappoint them with her answers. Pamela relates to seniors in a very remarkable way. In this connection, she is the author of a widely read book entitled “Computer Tips for Seniors” - “How to become a computer wise Grandparent” With any luck, we will have her back next year.

July 2010  Re: Computer Tips for SENIORS
I  recently purchased your Book “Computer Tips for Seniors” & am writing to let you know that I have read it from cover to cover, while sitting in front of the Computer, making many Notes as I went.
I was a user of XP & Office 2003 for many Years & now have Vista & Office 2007. When I asked a friend what the biggest challenge would be when I made the change, his response was “Imagine that the moving van has taken all your boxes to your new house, got there before you, & placed them haphazardly in various rooms. Your first assignment now is to find where your ‘this & that’ is now located!” Your Book was an extremely valuable aid in this regard.
Pamela, while the Bill Gates & Steve Jobs of this World are great at developing hardware & software, they are woefully lacking when it comes to teaching - even with all their built in “Help” mechanisms! I wish I had had a Book like yours when I started using a Computer in 1998!

January 16th 2010 Re: Huntington Lakes
Dear Pamela,
Thank you for the wonderful presentation you gave at the HLAKES computer club. Working with seniors and others, they all fear the learning aspect would be too difficult. Your showing and samples of your book showed them that it was easier than learning to drive a car. Also, it is a must today to know as much as their grandchildren or to be aware of all the possibilities of usage, and the places and facts that were unknown prior to the computer age. Today it is a MUST to know this and you have been a great knowledgeable asset in this manner.
Just looked over your book and as a computer teacher think it is the best computer book ever written.
Thanks a million------Al Grutman

January 11th 2010 Re: ASK PAMELA
You gave me a quick response to a question. It's very impressive, and I hope the site gets more recognition and therefore prosperity for you. It was a simple question, and ended up being a simple answer, but to everyday people like me-a site like yours is very valuable. I will highly recommend it should I ever come across someone with computer questions that I don't know!

Dear Pamela,
I am forever grateful for your remote assistance service. As you know, I was hesitant to try this service because of my limited computer knowledge but you convinced me to at least try it. I couldn't believe how patient you were in explaining it to me and how easy it was to use after my initial hesitation. I certainly would contact you again if I needed any help with my computer including the remote assistance.

I
I am so thrilled and grateful to Pamela. I recently bought a new computer and it is Vista. I had a question that I couldn't work out and so I wrote to Pamela and it felt as if that the question was barely asked that I got a response explaining to me, in ways that even I could understand, how to resolve my problem.
I can't tell you how wonderful it felt to feel that someone out there is concerned and willing to help..without a fee.
Thanks so much Pamela, keep up the great work.
