In September 2006 Pamela and her husband Ernest, founded
their THIRD Computer Club for Seniors in Toronto Canada.
FREE monthly workshops are held from JUNE through OCTOBER
for Senior Citizens in the GTA - Greater Toronto Area.

The WINNER of the FREE RAFFLE

The Hemispheres Computer Club season has drawn to a close and the last meeting held in October featured an early "spring cleaning" for your computer.

Pamela explained how to clear the desktop of "clutter" so that the computer runs faster. She also demonstrated how to pin programs to the Start menu and file all the documents and folders in the "My Documents" folder.

The class participated with questions and Pamela demonstrated the answers in detail making sure that all those in attendance understood the steps taken.

The evening ended with a FREE DRAW for a 128MB Flash Drive that was won by Maria Elisa Fortuna and we hope that she will be able to make good use of it when she begins to use her computer.

The First meeting of the Hemispheres Computer Club Members

There was a good turnout for the first meeting of the Hemispheres Computer Club in September 2006. This was the third FREE Computer Club for Seniors that Ernest and Pamela Tabak founded in Toronto Canada and they hope to open more in the near future.

Pamela  prepared a PowerPoint Presentation to show the members of the Hemispheres Computer Club what they could expect to learn during the club meetings and there was good participation from those in attendance. As these classes run from June to October there will be only one more class in 2006 but members were encouraged to visit the website that Pamela had designed for them and fill out a questionnaire to choose the subjects for the 2007 season.
