CASCADE LAKES COMPUTER CLUB compares Windows XP versus Windows 98.

Pamela Tabak was the presenter at the meeting of the Cascade
Lakes Computer Club on Monday January 10th 2005. Pamela ran a short PowerPoint presentation and then demonstrated and explained in detail, some of the new features of the Windows XP operating system, comparing them with those of previous versions of Windows.

There were 45 members present, who asked pertinent questions during the demonstration. Pamela answered the questions and explained that these features, and the way to apply them, will be included in the list of TUTORIALS on her website at: www.computertutorinc.net  where a link to print them will be supplied.

After the demonstration Pamela talked about the benefits of belonging to the Boca Raton Computer Society and with the aid of a wireless network, showed the links on her website to the BRCS MEMBERSHIP FORM, the SIGN UP for her SIGs and the MAPS to get to the SIGs and GENERAL MEETINGS.

The evening closed with coffee and cake when members gathered around Pamela to ask additional questions.
